Cookies policy

What's a cookie?
Every time you navigate to a different page or subpage, the data from the previous page are lost. A cookie is a small datum that is stored in the browser, so we (or anyone using them) can "remember" some of those data when you access the page again. For instance, imagine you've entered an online shop and saw an item you're interested in, adding it to the shopping cart. If you come back to the shop some days later, the cookies will allow the browser to remember the contents of the cart as you left it during your last visit.

Why do we use them for?
We try to keep the number of cookies used as low as possible. Currently we're using cookies only to offer a better experience. In particular, the only cookie we are storing ourselves is used to know whether you previously visited and accepted this cookies policy, to not show the disclaimer every time you access the site.  Additionally, 3rd party services (creativecommons.org) are storing a few cookies to enhance the web performance. In no case we'll use cookies to store private information that can be linked to you.

It is currently possible to browse this site with cookies blocked, although you may notice a slightly more annoying experience.

Can cookies be blocked or deleted?
Yes. Each browser offers this option across different preferences, but all of them allow to do it. You can find out how you can block and/or delete the cookies in your browser's help.
